Mr. James Edward BrownSeptember 27, 1949 – June 1, 2026 of Salley. James Edward Brown entered into eternal rest on June 1, 2026. He was a beloved son, brother, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, and friend whose presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Born on September 27, 1949, James was well known throughout the community for his love of riding bikes, working on vehicles, and spending time with friends and family. He was also a proud member of the “Corner” Club, where he shared countless memories, laughter, and fellowship over the years. His warm spirit, helping hands, and love for mechanics and motorcycles made him someone people naturally gravitated toward. James also enjoyed helping others in his community by doing yardwork for neighbors and cutting down trees. He never hesitated to lend a helping hand to anyone in need and found joy in hard work and serving those around him. He loved peaches, and children naturally gravitated toward him because of his kind spirit and gentle heart. Kids loved and adored him, and he always enjoyed making others smile. He leaves to cherish his loving memory his children: Richard Wise of Aiken, Jason Jordan of Batesburg, and Jennifer Pantoo of Texas. He was preceded in death by his son, Reggie Brown. He also leaves behind seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren who will forever cherish his love and memory. James leaves to mourn his passing his siblings: Douglas Jones, Judy Jones, Darrel Jones, Derrell Jones, and Dale Jones. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Kenneth Thomas and Elizabeth Elmore. He also leaves to cherish his memories special caregivers and dear friends: Marion and Mary Milhouse, Janet Redingburg, Peggy Autry, Winston Brown, Charlotte Web, and Joanne Green, along with a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, friends, neighbors, and loved ones who will forever cherish his memory. Though he has departed this earthly life, the memories, laughter, and love Mr. James Edward Brown shared will remain in the hearts of those who knew him forever. “Gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.”
