Marvin "Snoop" Washington 

February 17, 1971 – June 9, 2026

Marvin "Snoop" Washington was born on February 17, 1971, to Mary Louise Washington at Margaret Hayes Hospital in Jersey City, New Jersey. He attended Snyder High School in the Jersey City Public School System.

Marvin resided in Jersey City, New Jersey, until 2003, when he relocated to Barnwell, South Carolina, with his devoted partner, Nykia Robinson.

To their union, two children were born: one daughter, Najiya Washington, and one son, Awwal Washington.

Marvin departed this life on June 9, 2026. He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Mary Louise Washington of Orange, New Jersey; his devoted partner of 24 years, Nykia Robinson of Barnwell, South Carolina; and his three children: two daughters, Natasha Washington and Najiya Washington, and one son, Awwal Washington.

He also leaves behind a sister, Lawanda Beals, his brothers, Michael Washington, Jeffrey Washington, William Butler, and "Singer". Brother-In-Law, Rodney Robinson. A Special Nephew, Demetris Williams and a host of Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, extended family members, and friends who loved him dearly, both near and far.

Marvin’s presence, love, and spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
