  Mr. Willie E. Corbett 

  (1958-2026)

                                                                 In Loving Memory of Willie E. “Uncle Boo-Boo” Corbett

Willie E. Corbett, affectionately known as “Uncle Boo-Boo,” was born on July 22, 1958, in Barnwell, South Carolina, to the late Willie and Katie Corbett. He was the loving husband of his late wife, Angela (Angie). Willie attended Williston-Elko Schools and proudly served his country in the United States Army and Army National Guard, retiring as a Sergeant after more than 18 years of service. He later worked for many years as a heavy equipment operator. 

Willie enjoyed watching sports, fishing, spending time with family and friends, and reminiscing about his military days. He had a big personality, was direct, and was never afraid to speak his mind. Most importantly, Willie loved the Lord and often reminded others just how good God had been to him. Willie was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Katie Corbett; his wife, Angela (Angie); his sisters, Emogene Ross and Patricia Redingburg; his niece, Cathy Redingburg; Barbara Ross; and his nephews, Mark Anthony Corbett and Ozzie Redingburg Jr. Willie loved Cathy, Barbara, Mark Anthony, and Ozzie deeply and cared for them like a father. 

Willie leaves to cherish his memory his stepdaughter, Whitney of South Carolina; his brothers-in-law, Bobby Ross of South Carolina and Ozzie Redingburg Sr. of Florida; his beloved niece, Tina Potts (Ronald) of Florida, who shared a special relationship with him and made sure he was cared for and that his affairs were in order; Janie Mae Drayton, a dear friend who remained close to him until his passing; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and friends. On August 10, 2026, Willie passed away at Aiken Regional Medical Center. We find comfort in knowing that he has reunited with the loved ones who went before him, meeting them at the gates with open arms. Rest peacefully, Uncle Boo-Boo. You served your country, loved your family, trusted in the Lord, and left memories that will never be forgotten.
